    Special Olympics "A few years ago at the Special Olympics, nine contestants, all physically or mentally disabled, assembled at the starting line for the 100-yard dash.

    At the gun, they all started out, not exactly in a dash, but with a determination to run the race to the finish and win. All, that is, except one boy who stumbled on the asphalt, tumbled over a couple of times and began to cry. The other eight heard the boy. They slowed down and looked back. They all turned around and went back. Every one of them.

    One girl with Down's Syndrome bent down and kissed him and said "This will make it better." All nine linked arms and walked across the finish line together. Everyone in the stadium stood, and the cheering went on for several minutes. People who were there are still telling the story. Why? Because deep down we know one thing:

    What matters most in this life is more than winning for ourselves. What truly matters in this life is helping others win.

    its almost 4 AM and your humbled, weary eyed President is still flying
    high from a very, very monumental day that Causecast has just
    experienced. It was a defining point in this company's trajectory and
    again, we could not have done it without you. The doors are open..
    OMG.. now what? ha.. well.. as you can see there is much to do and our
    attention and focus will shift ever so slightly; but our collective
    mission is still the same. As we keep growing and building a culture
    of change, we will working with each of you and making sure you are
    comfortable and have a clear set of goals to achieve.

    On another more somber note, I wanted to take this time to say the following;

    As some of you know and others may not, I was on this day 7 years ago,
    September 11th, not
    only one of those people you saw on TV who escaped the falling towers,
    but also a 911 recovery worker who volunteered for most of that week
    on the rumble/pile most people came to know as Ground Zero.

    poverty_india11.jpg Team/Family,

    It is 3:54 AM as I write this. Cytrysbyte just left, Ed is on his way
    out the door to pass out and Levi and Dave are packing up to catch
    their flight to San Francisco. So if this email does not flow well,
    please forgive me as it is late.

    We have all worked so very hard and have come so very far to be at
    this moment. Many late nights, full of intensity, laughter and
    memories that shall not be easily forgotten. This babystep is the
    first of many steps for all of us as we ready the first incarnation;
    the introduction of our collective blood, sweat, tears (falcempt) and
    visions. Causecast makes its maiden voyage.. . I can see it in all
    your eyes; the excitement you all have, the passions you have to give
    back for the causes you care so much about, it inspires me.

    This is site is all of you and all of your collective experiences that
    make you care to work at a company like Causecast. Each one of you are
    so unique, dynamic and have added their own style, ...Read More

  • My first Causecast Blog..

    Well.. its been interesting the past few months here at Causecast. I work with the most passionate, smartest and wonderful team I could have asked for. I get to spend everyday of my life, thinking about how I can expand the credo of all these wonderful organizations who have joined Causecast, as well as the leaders who support them. It has been an interesting experience to say the least however, I am optimistic about our wonderful company, this amazing platform we have created and seeing the "Cause"ality of our collective work. I will write more when I can.. with love, Brian
